Our Commitment to Giving Back

At WithYou Insurance Inc., giving back to the community is an important part of our values. As a business, we choose to support registered Canadian charities through direct financial donations made by the company. Our goal is to support meaningful charitable work while maintaining transparency, regulatory compliance, and fairness for all clients, and we are proud to give back responsibly while appreciating the insight our clients provide about causes that matter to them. While all donations are made independently, we welcome clients to share suggestions for charitable organizations they care about, which we may consider when selecting charities to support. 

A portion of our company’s profits is donated each year to registered Canadian charities. These contributions are made entirely by WithYou Insurance Inc., using company profits, and are not connected to any individual insurance policy, premium, coverage, or client decision. No part of a client’s payment is treated as a charitable donation. 

We welcome client input on charitable causes they care about. From time to time, clients may share the names of registered Canadian charities they support. Sharing a suggestion is completely optional and is provided for informational purposes only. All donation decisions are made at the sole discretion of WithYou Insurance Inc., and suggesting a charity does not constitute a donation by the client. 

All donations are made directly by WithYou Insurance Inc. to registered Canadian charities, and donation receipts are issued to the company only, as required by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) rules. Clients do not receive donation receipts for these contributions, and charitable giving has no impact on pricing, underwriting, coverage, or service. 

Our approach is designed to ensure full compliance with:

• Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements.
• Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) regulations, including rules related to inducements and fair business practices.
• All other applicable laws and regulations governing charitable giving.
