In order to provide our Clients with access to insurance products and services, WithYou Insurance Inc. (“WithYou,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects certain personal information. Our commitment goes beyond meeting legal requirements for protecting personal information.

The trust and confidence our Clients, insurers, and business partners place in us—including our ability to protect the confidentiality of personal information and the privacy of individuals who provide it—are critical to our success as a business.

This Privacy Policy applies to our employees and to any third-party service providers or representatives with whom we contract.

Why We Collect, Use, and Retain Personal Information

WithYou acts as an insurance brokerage and intermediary between Clients and the insurance companies whose products we distribute. To provide insurance advice, place coverage, administer policies, and meet legal and regulatory obligations, we must obtain, use, and retain certain personal information.

We collect personal information from Clients in order to:

• Assess insurance needs and eligibility
• Obtain quotes and place insurance coverage
• Administer insurance policies once placed
• Process policy changes, renewals, and assist with claims
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements

The personal information we collect may include financial information, insurance history, health information (where required for underwriting), lifestyle or avocation information, and other information relevant to insurance risk assessment and policy administration.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide ongoing service, administer insurance business, or comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

We may also use anonymized or aggregated information to manage our business, improve services, and analyze trends. This information does not identify individual Clients.

Limiting Collection

We collect only the personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purposes identified above. Information is collected by fair and lawful means. Consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is obtained directly from Clients, either expressly or by implication, as permitted by law.

How We Collect Clients’ Information

Wherever possible, we collect personal information directly from our Clients or from individuals authorized to act on their behalf. Information may also be obtained from:

• Insurance companies
• Government agencies
• Other insurers or financial institutions
• Third-party service providers acting on our behalf

Where required, health information may be collected directly from the Client or from authorized medical or underwriting sources.

Consent

We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with consent, which may be express or implied depending on the nature of the information and the transaction.

Client consent generally includes authorization for us to:

• Collect personal information for insurance purposes
• Share necessary information with insurers and service providers
• Retain information to provide ongoing service and meet regulatory obligations

When a Client applies for, modifies, or uses any insurance product or service we make available, consent is implied for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information necessary to complete those transactions.

Clients may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawal of consent may limit or prevent our ability to provide insurance services.

Limits on Use and Disclosure

We use and disclose personal information only:

• To provide insurance products and services
• To fulfill contractual and regulatory obligations
• With Client consent
• As required or permitted by law

Personal information may be disclosed to:

• Insurance companies
• Our employees
• Third-party service providers performing services on our behalf
• Any other person or organization where consent has been given or where      authorized by law

Where personal information is provided to third-party service providers, we require them to protect that information in a manner consistent with our privacy policies and practices.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We may use personal information to offer products or services that we believe may be of interest to our Clients.

Limits on Retention of Information

We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by law.

Accuracy of Information

Clients are encouraged to keep their personal information accurate and up to date. A Client may request access to their personal information and may challenge its accuracy or completeness.

Where information is shown to be inaccurate or incomplete, we will make appropriate corrections and, where required, notify relevant third parties such as insurers.

Safeguarding Personal Information

We apply appropriate physical, organizational, and technological safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or misuse. Access to personal information is limited to authorized individuals who require it to perform their duties.
